MGB & MGA Heater Valve Kit

The OEM heater valves have two issues.  To begin with, they are are notorious for leaking.  And second, they tend not to close completely so you get heat in the cockpit when you don't want it!  This kit resolves both of those issues.  Leveraging a custom machined base, it replaces the factory valve with an inline heater valve that has the same "Pull to Close" orientation as the factory valve so your knob will operate as marked.  The kit comes with:

• A custom machined base that mounts to the cylinder head in place of the factory valve

• A pre-installed, stainless steel 90 degree elbow

• A pre-installed pull to close heater valve

• All new heater hose

• The stainless steel hose clamps

• A gasket for the base to cylinder head connection

• Socket head mounting hardware

• An instruction sheet for easy installation

The kit is designed to fit with no modifications to the car or motor and is compatible with both MGB's and MGA 1600's
